photoshoots

Tonight as I was sitting listening to Morgan cry herself to sleep( due to the fact that we are putting her back on a schedule and she wasn't happy about going to bed early... Things got crazy after the baby was born) and saying "mommy hold you" I couldn't help but think about how much I love that little girl... I have been thinking alot the past couple weeks about how my little girl is going to be turning 2 next week and how fast she is growing up! It kind of makes me a little bit sad that every day she is getting more and more independent and soon she isnt going to want as much help from her mommy anymore... I thouroghly am enjoying watching her grow though... She is such a sweet and smart little girl who loves to give hugs and kisses! I take all I can get! So after listening to Morgan cry out "Mommy hold you", "Daddy hold you" for about 15 min I went back in her room, gave her a hug, and layed her sad teary eyes back down to bed... I often times like to come to the computer at night and look through the pictures of my kids... I LOVE pictures so much and am so glad that we have cameras to capture those sweet precious, and sometimes not so precious, moments in life that we can look back on to remember certain things... Anywho, tonight was one of those nights that I decided to look through the pictures of Morgan... I ran across some fun pictures that we took doing little photoshoots and below are some of my favorites... My dad got a new camera that he lets me play with and I am excited to someday take Morgan back out and do some more photoshoots with her... Perhaps for her 2nd birthday!

Tummy Time

Asher doing tummy time! He is so stinkin cute I just wanna kiss those chubby little cheeks of his all day...(which I do) He is getting really good at holding his head up now!

Mothers day gift

I saw this really cute idea for a mothers day gift on this ladies craft blog and totally fell in love and wanted to make it for my mom... So I went out to Hobby lobby, Bought wooden letters so spell out the word mother, rounded up my brothers, borrowed my dads camera, and headed down to the river... I got quite a few good shots of my brothers which was great... I picked out the ones I liked best, edited them some and sent this to costco to be printed... My dad and I picked up a frame with 6 4x6 opening which was perfect! We put it all together and gave it to my mom for mothers day! I'm pretty sure she liked it! I acutally printed the pictures off in sepia tones like the ones below... My friend Katie saw the pics I did and liked the Idea so I offered to take ones of her to give to her mom for mothers day as well... We went down to the mesa arts center on Saturday night to take them... I think they turned out super cute!

Sleepy Morgan

Little Morgan inherited the funny thing Paul does called sleep talking... Today while Morgan was blissfully slumbering she woke up started looking at her hands and said "Hands" rubbed them together, rubbed them on her face, then layed that cute head of hers back on that fluffy pillow and went back to dreamland! It was quite funny... She does thing like this every so often, as does Paul...

Boys...

I guess this is what I have to look forward to in the future... The boys playing their video games... "Male bonding time!" I guess I can live with that and I will just dream that Morgan and I can go do fun stuff like go and get pedicures while the boys do their thing.... Paul gave Asher a remote so he could pretend that he was playing the game too!

"I did it!"

Paul and I were sitting in our room when all of a sudden we hear Morgan running towards us... In her hands she was holding a little wooden puzzle we got her for her birthday last year and with a big smile on her face she was proudly saying "I did it!" She had all by herself learned how to put the puzzle pieces in the right spot... It was so cute seeing her try to figure out where the other wooden puzzle pieces when and then beam up with such excitement when she got it right! It is so fun watching her learn and grow... She really is such a smart little girl and sometimes blows Paul and I away with the things she says... I can't wait to continue watching her learn and grow and have such eagerness and excitement when she tries new things and then accomplishes them... (for some reason this pic kept uploading sideways) This is how the puzzle was when she came running into our room! Trying to figure out the rest of the puzzle...
