Morgans Party

Seriously I don't know why blogger keeps putting my pictures up out of order but its bugging me just a little. Anywho, this year for Morgan's birthday we did an ice cream party. I think it turned out really cute and I think everyone enjoyed making their own sundaes. I will admit I feel like this turned out to be more of an adult party since the only kids there was a 10 month old and an almost 2 year old but I think Morgan still had a good time. At the very end my nieces showed up and Morgan absolutely loves them so thats when the fun really began. We as adults had a good time just visiting and eating ice cream! No one Showed up til almost an hour after the party started so Morgan and Asher entertained themselves by dancing and being silly until their guests arrived.

I found this shirt that was perfect for the theme of her party. It says I scream for ice cream and had a cute ice cream cone on it. I thought she looked adorable.

All of the toppings. There were about 15 toppings and then hot fudge, carmel, and other various liquid toppings. And of course whipcream and cherries!
I saw these cupcakes on a blog and thought they were the most adorable things ever and fit perfect for morgans party. They had a whole ice cream party line at michaels and was able to find these cute cups there and they tray. Along with wrappers to go on the bottoms of the waffle cones and napkins. It was a one stop shop!

Hard to see in the picture but it says Morgan's Ice Cream Shoppe with a sundae next to it
A delicious looking sundae that was created.
We had a good time and Morgan got lots of good gifts. She even got a bike from her grandparents! She sure was one spoiled little girl. Thank you everyone that came and help make Morgans birthday a special day with us!

Morgans 3rd Birthday!

First off some of these pictures are a little out of order. We started Morgans birthday off by running down to krispy kreme in our jammies to get her free dozen doughnuts. Here are the kids eating them.

This is what happens when I leave the room for 2 seconds. Morgan hands half to box to Asher and he throws them on the floor. Good thing we didnt pay for the doughnuts.

After breakfast we got ready. I did morgans nails and toes. She looks so cute sitting with her hands and feet under the light.

That afternoon I took Morgan to go see kung fu panda 2. It was my second time taking her to the movies. The first time was a year ago and that was a disaster. This time she did relatively good. Towards the end she didn't want to sit in her seat anymore. Overall we had a good time on our mommy daughter birthday date!
Later that evening both my mom and Pauls mom stopped by to wish the birthday girl a happy birthday. We were waiting til Paul got home from work to let her open her presents since he missed out on the previous activities but he wasn't going to be home til late so we opened them with grandmas instead.

Morgan got this dress up set and loved putting all the clothes on. We needed to run to the store after we opened her presents and she insisted on wearing the snow white dress and accessories to the store. How could I resist. She looked too cute!
I can't believe that my little girl is now 3. She is such a joy to have in this family and brings us so many smiles and laughter. Although she does display a lot of behavioral issues associated with the age her sweet personality sure does out weigh it. She is very independent although she still likes to ask us for help with some things. The things that come out of her mouth cracks us up. We love our Morgan Grace so much and are so pleased with how she is growing up!

4th of July

Wow I have been really bad at updating my blog. Well I guess I will start back up with the 4th of July. Sunday I started our festivities by making some fun 4th of July cookies. I have been having fun making sugar cookies with royal icing. I posted a picture on facebook of them and like half hour later I get a text from my aunt saying my cousin showed her the pictures of the cookies and she loved them. Anywho the next day she text me asking if the cookies were for a party that night and I told her no they were just to give out and she asked if she could buy them from me to take to a party she was going to. I thought that was fun!
Monday Morning we went out to breakfast with our friends Kyle and Whitney to a little diner called wild berry. We had a good time visiting and eating our food. We then went to old navy and chilled for the rest of the afternoon. We were supposed to bbq with my family that evening but something came up so we had to cancel. We then went to watch the fireworks over at tempe town lakes. We got there about half hour late but its an hour show so we still saw a fair amount of it. From the free way that is. We were trying to find a parking lot or something to watch the show from but the traffic was so slow we pretty much got to watch the entire show from there. Morgan absolutely loved it and had fun identifying all of the colors of the fireworks. We went home after the show was over and it took us about an hour! Traffic was crazy. Over all we had a good 4th of July even though it was pretty chill. Lame me I didn't get any pictures either... I need to get better at that.
